The Walshe Group was appointed by Tourism Western Australia in February 2022 to focus on broadening travel trade relations and activities on the East Coast of Australia. As part of our appointment, we were tasked with coordinating the East Coast brand launch event for the new Walking On A Dream brand launch event for the travel trade and travel media. The event was a large high-profile brand launch in Sydney for 150 industry leaders showcasing Western Australian produce and celebrities and hosted by celebrity MC Joel Creasy. A key highlight was a live performance by dancer Rika Hamaguchi who re-created the dance scenes from the Walking on a Dream commercial featuring the music of Empire of the Sun.
