Oman Air has welcomed Sandra Cahill as new Sales Manager Australia at an exciting time for the airline.  Her new role will be to implement a further growth path across Australia in recognition of the airline’s network expansion plans and its commitment to investing further in the Australian market.

Cahill has a strong airline, travel and tourism background and has previously been with the Ministry of Oman Tourism, Gulf Air, Air France, APT Group and most recently with Pandaw Cruises in sales and business development.

She is a great advocate for the destination having been to Oman many times and who is incredibly passionate about the destination. This year is an important landmark in Oman aviation history with the opening of the new Muscat International Terminal, which will feature state of the art engineering design and enhanced luxurious facilities.

The first phase will initially increase passenger capacity to 12 million and upon full completion will handle 48 million passengers per year.

Oman Air has been extending its reach to the Australian travel market in the past 12 months through a range of initiatives including:

  • Revamped fare structures removing fuel components
  • Introducing value-based Business class fares and trade friendly year round Economy class fares
