Last week, Hawaii Tourism Oceania hosted a group of professional meeting planners for a MICE famil on O‘ahu and the Island of Hawai‘i.

The trip across the Hawaiian Islands was filled with unique experiences and Aloha hospitality, beginning with a champagne toast in the Qantas Lounge courtesy of Qantas Airways.

In conjunction with the O‘ahu Visitors Bureau and the Island of Hawai‘i Visitors Bureau, the attendees experienced the diversity of two islands and enjoyed world class accommodations, staying at newly refurbished properties; the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort, Grand Naniloa by Doubletree, The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach and the Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach.

On the Island of Hawai‘i, the group took part in a variety of activities such as attending Hawaii Food and Wine Festival, hiking along an active volcano, swimming with the manta rays, a private helicopter tour above the rainforest and visiting the historical Hilo town.

During their time on Oahu, the group learned about Hawaii’s culture and history at Bishop Museum, Pacific Aviation Museum and USS Missouri Memorial. The group also received a private Hula lesson at Ōpae‘ula Ridge, followed by an unforgettable farewell dinner at Kualoa Ranch Private Nature Reserve by Gourmet Events.
