Javad joined The Walshe Group in 2009. He is a self-motivated and energetic individual with a passion for working in competitive environments. He has obtained experience and skills in challenging commercial roles within the airline industry covering sales, marketing, e-commerce, project management and strategic pricing in B2B and B2C environments.
Throughout his career Javad has worked with a number of well-known airline brands, such as KLM, Swiss Air/SWISS, British Airways and South African Airways. He has a highly developed business acumen and is focused on exploiting present and new opportunities within his portfolio.
Javad has been leading the strategic growth of Oman Air’s offline profile since its start-up in Australia in April 2012. His contribution lead to Oman Air being recognised by the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) as ‘Finalist for Best International Airline Off-line’ for three years in 2018, 2019 and 2023.
