Royal Brunei Airlines is the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Brunei, head quartered in Bandar Seri Begawan and wholly owned by the government of Brunei.
In the 2000’s, Royal Brunei Airlines developed a strategy to develop the airline's network reach and connect Brunei more efficiently to the rest of the World. At the same time, the airline invested in a fleet renewal programme that would include both the acquisition of new aircraft including the A320 and the Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, recently replaced by the B787 making Royal Brunei Airlines the first South East Asian carrier to take delivery of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Service from Brunei throughout South East Asia is complimented by long-haul flights to Dubai, London and Melbourne.
