Australian & New Zealand originating passengers travelling on an SAA ticket operated by the airline’s low-cost-carrier Mango, on flights within South Africa, can now take advantage of great value meal deals.

According to South African Airways Country Manager for Australasia, Tim Clyde-Smith, SAA-ticketed passengers will receive food and drinks to the value of 70 rand at no cost on production of an SAA boarding pass.

“Passengers who are travelling on a Mango flight but on an SAA ticket (with an 083 prefix on their boarding pass) will be offered in-flight refreshments up to that value,” Tim said.

“As an example, 70 rand will buy a sandwich and a soft drink, coffee or tea or a beer or glass of wine and chips.”

Available immediately, passengers just need to produce their boarding pass to take advantage of this great initiative.

“This is a good example of how SAA and Mango are working more closely together while acknowledging the premium level of an SAA fare.” Tim concluded.
