Expo 2020, regarded as ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’, is garnering momentum in the lead up to opening October 2020 and has engaged The Walshe Group to represent it in Australia

Dubai Expo 2020, an international mega event that will be hosted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), appointed The Walshe Group to handle trade representation in the Australian market in the lead up to and beyond - its opening date 20 October 2020 – 10 April 2021.  Expo 2020 aims to entertain, educate a global audience, celebrate innovation, promote progress and foster cooperation.

Expo 2020 is set to attract millions of people from around the globe for six months of entertainment, innovation, discovery and fun.  It is expected that Expo 2020 will attract 25 million visits in six months and this year’s theme is ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’.

With 173 days of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, Expo 2020 will be open seven days a week and have 60 plus live events each day, 192 country pavilions and more than 200 restaurants from around the world.  There will be 1-day, 3-day, monthly and seasonal tickets available on sale to the general public in April 2020 although visitors will be able to buy monthly and season passes directly from Expo from Q4. Single-day and three-day tickets will be offered to international travellers in bundled packages to be sold by Authorised Ticket Resellers, contracted with Expo 2020 starting May 2019.
